FRIENDS @ HOME
Friends @ Home is a program that pairs a special needs individual with a “typical” peer volunteer for regular visits in the individual’s home. This unique formula gives the child or young adult with special needs the experience of friendship that is tailored to his/her interests and in the comfort of his/her homes. At the same time, it empower typical peers to be caring and responsible volunteers and mentors. The pairs enjoy time together in activities of their choice. Plus, while the pair are happily enjoying their time together, parents are ale to enjoy a regular respite from their daily schedules.
This program is available to all individuals with special needs, ages 5 and up. Visits are arranged to accommodate your schedule.
